He's mostly all I can remember focusing in on when I saw the farewell show at the Oakland Coliseum in 1968. Back then the acoustics in the Arena were so-so but Baker's drums came right at you like a speeding locomotive regardless.
Here he describes "paradiddles" and Clapton explains what makes him unique in comparison to other drummers.

Yeah, without even looking, I think GB wins this one...K Moon might have been crazy, and others might be oddballs, but GB is one strange, increasingly cranky (ex?)junkie....

Thx, Bill; have a good weekend.

Indeed, Mr. Baker ranks as the King Crazy. But, didn't all of us that grew up in the Cream/Blind Faith/Ginger Baker's Air Force era already know that?

And wishes for good week-end to you as well.

Personally, I think it's a tie. I think GB and KM were equally crazy. Unfortunately, KM pooped early and therefore had little time to expand on his repertoire.

For jazz (and cheese) lovers, here's crazy: Han Bennink, who I've seen a couple of times. In the first video he tunes his drums with his foot (6:14)and plays the plastic bag (9:58); in the second he plays the cheese kit.
